Description:
Horse meat is markedly high in protein and low in fat. Protein not only serves to strengthen the body's resistance, but also to support the production of enzymes and hormones. It is packed at -25 degrees, and should be stored in the freezer at -18 degrees and defrosted before serving. The meat can be stored about a year after the date of production.
