Quail are bred in certified hatcheries.  The Quail can be larger and contain more fat than a one day old Quail.

They may also contain eggs.

One quail weight approximately 150-240g

These standard Quail are a great whole prey food, they make an ideal raw snack or treat for dogs and will be a meal for most cats, they are a particularly great natural food source for reptiles and birds of prey too. These quail come from certified hatcheries and are euthanased by a method that is recognised by the RSPCA Freedom foods as the most humane available when awarded the Allstair Mease Award for improvements in Animal Welfare 2000. The quail are then chilled as an integral process, boxed and within hours blast frozen before dispatch, it is the speed of this process that differentiates our supplier Honeybrook from all other producers.

Fur also acts as a natural de-wormer, and the meaty bones act as a natural toothbrush to achieve great oral health.

Quail is one of the leanest types of poultry and all the types of quail provide good sources of the following minerals such as Sodium – used to maintain fluid levels and the balance of fluid, it’s also necessary for the health of the heart, liver, and kidneys. It regulates blood fluids and prevents low blood pressure. Potassium,- also helps regulate fluid balance, but assists in muscle contractions and nerve signals, and Iron which acts like a magnet and pulls all the other minerals and oxygen towards it, carrying it to the cells of the body, it also helps to cleanse the blood, Iron is seen as the most important mineral, as if the body is lacking in Iron, its lacking in everything.

No artificial colour, preservatives, additives cereals or filers.

Instructions for use:

• Store the products in a freezer.
• Thaw the products in the refrigerator before serving.
• We do not recommend using a microwave oven.
• Thawed food should be refrigerated and used within 48 hours or longer depending on the temperature of your refrigerator.
• The product is not intended for human consumption!
• Wash hands, tools and surfaces with soap before and after serving products, and wash the pet's food bowl after each meal.
• Store separately from food.
• Always provide your pet with fresh water.
• Care should be taken that the dog does not swallow this product whole and does not choke.
• DO NOT HEAT!
