Sprats or Anchovy are small fish that are part of the Herring family and belong to the group of fodder fish. This is a useful symbiosis of protein (58%) and Omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acid (4,3%). Sprat is known for its nutritional value because it contains a high level of polyunsaturated fats including eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) which are considered indispensable for the dog’s diet, contribute to heart health and improve blood circulation.

Our whole fish products like all other DogsLikeFish products, are cooked in special ovens and in drying mode that allows to save 70%-80% of the healthy ingredients found in whole fish. As a raw material we usually use Sprats caught in the Baltic Sea which undergo thorough manual sorting before drying.

Feeding recommendations:

• Depending on the size of the dog - 4-5 fishes per day
• Always provide enough fresh drinking water!
