How to start using rafus menu?
If you feed your pet with dry food, the transition to RAFUS MENU food is necessary gradually within 7-10 days. Although some dogs change their eating habits easily, a gradual transition from dry food to raw food will help avoid stomach upset because:
• Enzymes needed to digest foods high in protein, incl. raw meat and bones are different than those needed to digest carbohydrate-rich foods (dry foods).
• Dogs fed a dry carbohydrate-based diet have a higher gastric pH compared to dogs that normally eat fresh meat. Therefore, it takes time to increase the acidity level.
We offer a very simple scheme to change the eating habits of your pet:
Day 1 - replace one spoonful of dry food with one spoonful of RAFUS MENU feed. For small dogs, a teaspoon.
Day 2. Instead of one spoon, replace two RAFUS MENU spoons.
In the following days, gradually increase the general food portion of the RAFUS MENU, reducing the amount of dry food. If your dog begins to "spoil the air", then do not mix dry food with raw meat, but rather give fresh food in the morning and dry food in the evening (observing the recommended change doses). After a week, you will already be able to feed your dog only fresh food.
• If your dog has a softer bowel movement, we recommend reducing the amount of fresh food for the next 3 days. Once the bowel movements have improved, start gradually increasing the amount of RAFUS MENU food again.

- Remember that for a complete diet, you must offer your dog at least 5 sources of protein over a 3-month period. Therefore, we recommend supplementing the dog's diet with various fresh food products.
- An adult dog should be given 2-4% of his weight depending on physical activity. But every dog is different, so adjust the daily portion individually.
- Never change the type of protein immediately, but gradually increase the amount of the new food.
