Nuba Hoof & Shine Chaff
Description:
Sample weight: 0.7-1kg
This chaff is fully balanced and can replace concentrated feed.
Nuba Hoof&Shine Chaff was created to support the growth and healthy condition of the skin, coat and hooves. It is suitable for horses prone to laminitis due to the low sugar and starch levels. It is also recommended for horses with cracked hooves, weak hoof horn, too slow growth, dull coat, skin problems.
The product provides slowly released energy from digestible fiber and fats, so it is also suitable for horses with an excitable temperament.
Chaff given in the recommended amounts can be a sufficient meal for horses not working and in light work. There is no need for additional supplementation.
Did you know that the health of hooves and skin products depends mainly on the condition of the large intestine. To briefly describe this relationship - it is there that, thanks to beneficial bacteria, fiber fermentation takes place, thanks to which the horse produces vitamins (for example vitamin H, i.e. biotin), enzymes, synthesizes amino acids, and also absorbs a lot of nutrients and generates heat (thanks to which the horse does not freeze). If the intestinal microflora is disturbed, it may not cause serious symptoms, but rather a deterioration in the condition of the coat or hooves.
Our chaff has two tasks:
1. Support the bacterial flora of the large intestine so that it functions optimally.
Valuable, easily digestible fiber is helpful here, as well as yeast supporting its digestion and probiotics.
2. Provide nutrients that the bacterial flora is unable to synthesize when its functioning is disturbed.
The additives contained in Nuba Hoof&Shine Chaff are:
- biotin - contained in our chaff in an amount with scientifically proven effectiveness - has a positive effect on hooves.
This vitamin has the ability to accumulate bioavailable sulfur, and by delivering it directly to cells, it supports the condition of the skin and its products.
It also participates in the metabolism of proteins and fats,
- methionine - an exogenous amino acid that is the basic building block of the hoof horn and hair.
It is essential for protein synthesis, has a cleansing effect on the body by supporting the work of the liver, regulates the process of keratinization of the epidermis, hair and nails,
- msm - an organic sulfur compound, providing this valuable element to the horse's body.
Sulfur balances the water pressure inside our cells, which supports the health of the joints, immune system, digestive system and circulatory system.
It has a positive effect on the condition of hair, skin and hooves,
- zinc, copper, magnesium, selenium - elements necessary for the proper functioning of the body, often found in the daily diet of horses in too small amounts.
Their deficiencies can result in poor condition of the entire body, including hooves and skin,
- vitamins A, D, E - are essential for the proper functioning of the body, have antioxidant and immune-supporting effects,
- seaweed - provide valuable nutrients in a well-digestible form, bind toxic substances, penetrate fat cells and stimulate metabolism. They also support skin metabolism,
- yeast - are a prebiotic, i.e. a nutrient for beneficial bacteria of the digestive system.
A positive effect on intestinal microflora guarantees greater absorption of nutrients supplied in feeds and efficient synthesis of vitamin K and B vitamins,
- probiotics - support intestinal microflora, the good condition of which has a decisive influence on the health of the horse.
The chaff is fully balanced and can be used instead of concentrated feed. It can also be used as an addition to the current feed.
The short chopped form extends the eating time, promotes more thorough chewing, and therefore better digestion.
