How to start using rafus menu?
If you feed your pet with dry food, the transition to RAFUS MENU food is needed gradually in 7-10 days. Although some dogs easily change their eating habits, a gradual transition from dry food to raw food will avoid stomach irritation because:
• Enzymes needed to digest foods high in protein, incl. raw meat and bones are different from those needed to digest carbohydrate-rich foods (dry food).
• The pH of the dog's stomach is higher in dogs fed a dry diet based on carbohydrates compared to dogs that usually eat fresh meat. Therefore, it takes time to increase the acidity level.
We offer a very simple scheme to change the eating habits of your pet:
Day 1 - Replace one tablespoon of dry food with one tablespoon of RAFUS MENU food. A teaspoon for small dogs.
Day 2. Replace two RAFUS MENU spoons with one spoon.
In the following days, gradually increase the overall food portion of the RAFUS MENU by reducing the amount of dry food. If your dog begins to "damage the air", then do not mix dry food with raw meat, but better to give fresh food in the morning and dry food in the evening (following the recommended replacement doses). In a week, you will be able to feed your dog only fresh food.
• If your dog has a softer stool, we recommend reducing the amount of fresh food for the next 3 days. When bowel movements have improved, start gradually increasing the amount of RAFUS MENU food again.

- Remember that for a complete diet, you must offer your dog/cat at least 5 sources of protein over a 3-month period. Therefore, we recommend supplementing the dog’s/cat’s diet with various fresh food products.
- An adult dog/cat should be given 2-4% of his weight depending on physical activity. But every dog is different, so adjust the daily portion individually.
- Never change the type of protein immediately, but gradually increase the amount of the new food.
