How to start using rafus menu?
If you feed your pet with dry food, the transition to RAFUS MENU is necessary gradually over 7-10 days. While some dogs easily change their eating habits, a gradual transition from dry foods to unprocessed foods will help prevent abdominal irritation because:
• Enzymes necessary for the digestion of high protein foods, incl. raw meat and bones are different from those needed to digest carbohydrate-rich foods (dry food).
• The pH of the dog's stomach is higher in dogs fed a carbohydrate-based dry diet compared to dogs that normally eat fresh meat. Therefore, it takes time for the acidity level to rise.
We offer a very simple scheme for changing your eating habits for your pet:
Day 1 - One scoop of dry food with one scoop of RAFUS MENU. Teaspoon for small dogs.
Day 2 Replace two scoops of RAFUS MENU instead of one scoop.
In the following days, gradually increase the total portion of RAFUS MENU products, reducing the amount of dry products. If your dog starts to "bad the air", do not mix dry food with raw meat, but rather give fresh food in the morning and evening with dry food (according to the recommended dosage). After a week, you will be able to feed your dog only fresh food.
• If your dog has a softer belly, we recommend reducing the amount of fresh food for the next 3 days. As soon as the abdominal cavity improves, start gradually increasing the amount of food on the menu.
Instructions for use:
- Store the products in a freezer.
- Thaw the products in the refrigerator before serving.
- We do not recommend using a microwave oven or heat treating the product!
- Thawed food should be refrigerated and used within 48 hours or longer depending on the temperature of your refrigerator.
- The product is not intended for human consumption!
- Wash hands, tools and surfaces with soap before and after serving products, and wash the pet's food bowl after each meal.
- Store separately from food.
- Always provide your pet with fresh water.
- Remember that for a complete diet, you must offer your dog at least 5 sources of protein over a 3-month period. Therefore, we recommend supplementing the dog's diet with various fresh food products.
- An adult dog should be given 2-4% of his weight depending on physical activity. But every dog is different, so adjust the daily portion individually.
- Never change the type of protein immediately, but gradually increase the amount of the new food.
